EFQM Excellence Model and Balanced Scorecard
The European Foundation for Quality Management Excellence model, or popularly known as EFQM Excellence Model, is used by organizations to evaluate and improve their performance. The EFQM Model is an internationally recognized, non-prescriptive tool with a broad framework of management assumptions that organizations can adapt to achieve excellence. The tool is used by numerous multi-national organizations, and those that apply it have been shown to outperform those that did not.
Balanced Scorecard is a strategic and performance management tool employed by a wide range of public and private sector organizations. The model applies additional measures such as customer perspective along with financial measures to monitor and improve the performance of an organization.
