To highlight current best practices and internationally applied guidelines for the proper management of CSR activities. Professionals were in search of a course module enabling them to receive official accredition on CSR.
CSE Solution
The CSE conducted the first-ever global workshop for Corporate Social Responsibility professionals on June 12-13, 2008, to help them gain accreditation as CSR practitioners.
The global workshop was the first of our planned annual training programs titled "CSR Practitioner Workshop." The aim of the program was to impart skills and competencies required to become qualified CSR practitioners. Since the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) had approved the program, the participants received accreditations as CSR practitioners.
CSE specialists conducted the workshop, which drew 13 participants from 9 countries. The IEMA is a non-profit membership organization set up to promote the best practice standards in environmental management, auditing and assessment.
