George P. Nassos is an Industry Associate Professor and Director of the M.S. in Environmental Management and Sustainability program at the Stuart School of Business, Illinois Institute of Technology. He is also Director of the Center for Sustainable Enterprise, a center founded at Stuart to be a resource for projects directed toward achieving sustainability in Chicago’s economic community. He has been with the Stuart School of Business since 1997. George also has experience in the private sector, having worked with companies such as Cemtech, Chemical Waste Management, and International Minerals & Chemical.

Accredited by IABC, she is a business communication process expert and builds best-in-class communication portfolios.
Most recently, she was Public Affairs Director and Director of Science Communication at the US Environmental Protection Agency, where she designed and directed an award-winning, multi-year science communication strategy and brand communication program. She is past president of the largest US chapter of International Association of Business Communicators, has a Ph.D. in Communication, and was one of ten US Treasury Department-designated researchers to conduct research to support the first redesign of the $100 bill.
